I took my staff for brunch yesterday. The food was amazing. The coffee service was very nice. You will be pleasantly surprised by it. Service was fine. The place is decorated well. I also found the prices to be on the acceptable side of high, no higher than anywhere else and WAY better food!
I wouldn’t want to wait in a weekend but I highly recommend!
I ordered the brisket breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, and hash browns substituted for home fries,.
The dish comes with a generous portion of brisket—more than the average brisket sandwich—and looked very appealing. I found the brisket slightly dry. I poured some maple syrup from my son’s breakfast on it and it improved nicely. The burnt ends were good but not great, some very hard, but the syrup softened them up quickly. The brisket flavor was good but not great. I was a little disappointed with the brisket. The hash brown potatoes were excellent—near the top of my experience. The scrambled eggs were excellent—fluffy and flavorful.
The made from scratch biscuits are flavorful and fluffy. My son loved the chocolate chip waffles.
The sweet tea is awesome. Up there with the best I’ve ever had.
Sweet Tea Ranking: 9.5
The only truly sour note here: The French fries were fine but terribly salty—like a salt mine! I thought I was at Panera Bread.
Had a great experience! The 20-minute wait turned out to only be around 5 minutes. The server was very attentive, and the food came within 10 minutes of ordering. They have a quaint patio with heaters as well. We enjoyed and will definitely go back!
Waitstaff was pleasant and the service was fairly quick. The food prep and quality was exceptional. Nice, low-key vibes but with clear evidence in their pride of providing a comfortable and inviting experience!
My first time and I'll keep on coming here. The food was good and we had a few cocktails and the consistency was excellent! Our server was Caroline and she was fantastic. The atmosphere was casual and enjoyable. The cheddar grit was the best I ever had! Portions are satisfying and prices are reasonable.
Loved the atmosphere but be prepared for a pleasant and entertaining wait. Our server was so incredible. Great service. The food was marginal. The fries had a gallon of salt on them which I also saw noted in other reviews. They were also all crispy and overcooked. Would have been good if cooked properly. I think this is hype to be honest. The food was decent but nothing special. I would give it one more try, but so far not worth the 30 minute wait to eat on a Sunday. I had the chicken and waffles and I missed syrup and normalcy. I guess maybe I tried the wrong thing which is why I will give them another chance. I feel you guys just say what everyone else says because as a foodie I definitely think y'all aren't being honest. WARNING: to those who cook and love exquisite food, this is nowhere near a 5 star restaurant, not even for Greensboro.
Amazing brunch spot. I’ve been twice now and am pleased with both visits. There is a small parking lot, which does fill up fast on the weekend. Otherwise there is street parking around. The first time I went I got the breakfast burrito with hash browns. So good. I ended up taking half of the burrito home with me for the next day because of how big it is. The second time I got the breakfast sandwich and fruit. It’s a little messy, and the tomatoes are always trying to escape with each bite, but the sauce was amazing. The chai latte was also fantastic. Can’t wait to try one of their Sunday brunch specials in the future. Check out their instagram to see what it is before you go.
Great atmosphere and cute place for a quick lunch date. We tried the recommended dishes and food came okay, a little on the mediocre end. Burger was ok, side collard green wasn’t something I’d recommend. Brisket was dry and overpowering with bbq sauce.
